    Dr. Alessandra Rizzardi received her BS and MS degree in Computer Science 110/110 cum laude at the University of Insubria in Varese (Italy), in October 2011 and July 2013, respectively. In December 2016 she got her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics at DiSTA (Department of Theoretical and Applied Science), under the guidance of Prof. Sabrina Sicari. Her research activity, conducted in the group of Prof. Alberto Coen Porisini and Prof. Sabrina Sicari, is focused on wireless sensor networks and Internet of Things security and privacy issues. Now she is an Assistant Professor in Software Engineering at the University of Insubria. She has been the author of more than 40 scientific papers which have been published in international journals and conference proceedings. In 2021, she was the winner of the "Computer Networks Timeless Impact Paper Award" from Computer Networks journal. She is the Principal Investigator for the funded national project PRIN 2022, and Editorial Board member for the journals Transactions on Emerging Telecommunications Technologies (Wiley) Wiley), Internet Technology Letters (Wiley), and Sensors (MDPI). She is an IEEE Member.
